The First Iranian-Hungarian Rectors Conference was held with the aim of getting a mutual understanding of the potentials for scientific cooperation between two parties and Dr. Simchi, Dean of International Affairs of Sharif University of Technology, attended and delivered a speech at the meeting as the university representative. The conference was hosted by Yazd University on April 28th where Dr. Simchi gave a talk on “Innovation and Technology in International Collaboration”.
The event was attended by Dr. Salar Amoli, Deputy Minister of Science, Research and Technology and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. To recognize the potentials of scientific cooperation between Iran and Hungary, to understand the existing obstacles and achieve ways to overcome them, and providing an opportunity for face-to-face talks between the two countries’ higher education authorities, were among the main goals of the conference.
