SUT Student Receives Silver Medal in International Ideas Competition

The International Federation of Inventors' Associations (IFIA) recently held a prestigious competition in Switzerland from August 20th to 22nd. This global event saw the participation of 830 ideas from 50 different countries, with 1500 inventors showcasing their innovative creations. Among the talented participants from Japan, Brazil, France, Indonesia, and more, Mr. Hesam Aldien Miri, a mechanical engineering student from SUT, stood out and was awarded the silver medal in the field of biomechanics.

Mr. Miri's idea impressed the competition's referees and was selected for its significant qualities, including its economic viability, eco-friendliness, and high demand among people. The competition encompassed a wide range of engineering and industrial fields, such as mechanical engineering, agricultural engineering, medical science, and more.

This remarkable achievement by Mr. Miri highlights the dedication and talent fostered within SUT's mechanical engineering department.
