SUT Graduate Elham Tabbasi Recognized as a Prominent Figure in the AI Field

In a recent feature by Time journal, Elham Tabbasi, a distinguished graduate of SUT, has emerged as a prominent figure in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), alongside renowned names such as Elon Reeve Musk, Samuel Harris Altman (Director of OpenAI), and Demis Hassabis (Director of Google DeepMind).

Currently serving as a researcher at the prestigious National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Tabbasi also holds the position of Vice President of Emerging Technologies at the Information Technology Laboratory (ITL). Her journey began in Iran, where she was born, and she pursued her studies at SUT. In 1994, she immigrated to the United States to further her education and embarked on her professional career at NIST.
