ICTP Senior Associateship Award to Prof. Ejtehadi of Sharif University of Technology
Mohammad Reza Ejtehadi, Professor at the Department of Physics, is appointed as Senior Associate of the ICTP from 01 January 2020 until 31 December 2025. Senior Associateships are intended for scientists of a good research level, from and working in developing countries and have a six-year duration. The Associateship Scheme covers travel costs and provides a living allowance for developing-world scientists to visit ICTP several times over a six-year period. The aim is for scientists to remain regularly in contact with the most modern aspects of their scientific fields.
Since the Associateship Scheme began in 1964, ICTP has supported the visits of more than 2800 Junior, Regular and Senior Associates. Many have leveraged their ICTP experience to achieve success in their scientific careers.
Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), founded in 1964 seeks to accomplish its mandate by providing scientists from developing countries with the continuing education and skills that they need to enjoy long and productive careers.
