One of the most prestigious ranking systems for universities and educational institutions, QS Asia University Rankings, published its results related to more than 750 top universities in Asia. Sharif University of Technology (SUT) won the first rank among prominent Iranian universities such as University of Tehran, Amirkabir University of Technology, Shahid Beheshti University, etc. SUT also ranked 84th amongst more than 750 other Asian universities participating in this evaluation. This was the first time that Iranian universities were ranked in this category of QS University Ranking.
Academic and employer reputation, the number of faculty members with PhD degrees and the percentage of international students were among the key indicators used in the 2023 QS Asia University Rankings.
