According to the latest QS World Ranking, Sharif University of Technology, with a 25-step improvement in the list of world’s top universities, ranked 407th in the world. Sharif University keeps an 82-step gap with Amirkabir University of Technology, the second of two Iranian University ranked in the list of top 500 universities of the world.
For Institutional research quality which is determined based on citations per faculty metric, SUT in the 38th place ranks higher compared to its 2019 result, improving its position place 10-step up. For employer reputation metric which assesses how successful institutions are at providing students with necessary preparation for their future employment, SUT showed an outstanding performance by moving 134 steps up and standing at 394th place.
The QS World University Rankings is an annual publication of university rankings by Quacquarelli Symonds that evaluates universities on six performance indicators, relating to research, teaching, employability and internationalization.
